01Build a 15-player squad
You have a budget of 100.0. Your squad is exactly 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 forwards, with no more than three players from one club.
02Pick a starting eleven
Each matchday you start eleven players: one goalkeeper, at least three defenders, at least two midfielders and at least one forward. That allows 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2, 3-4-3, 5-3-2, 4-5-1 and 5-4-1. Try them in the formation builder.
03Order your bench
If a starter plays zero minutes, the first eligible bench player comes in — as long as the formation stays legal.
04Choose a captain
Captain points are doubled. Name a vice-captain as cover.
05Make transfers
One free transfer per matchday; unused transfers roll over to a maximum of two. Extra transfers cost 4 points each.
06Beat the deadline
Changes lock 90 minutes before the first kick-off of the matchday.
